Maclaren Recalling A Million Strollers

by Tiffany on November 10, 2009

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today announced a voluntary recall for Maclaren Strollers. It has been estimated that a million Maclaren Strollers will be included in this recall for strollers sold between 1999 through November 2009.

Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. The stroller’s hinge mechanism poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard to the child when the consumer is unfolding/opening the stroller, according to the Prnewswire.com.
