That is so cool! Now, that is a "stimulus package". What a great idea ( and a good marketing hook!)
I agree! I was so excited to share this!

Tiffany, thanks for finding this! I'm definitely going to pass this information on to my husband. He does most of the repair work on our cars, and sometimes for specialty jobs, he has to buy a tool that he'll really only use that one time. Even with buying the tool, it's still cheaper for him to do the repair work himself, but this program might help do-it-yourselfers save even more. I'm going to share this program with my readers, too, with credit to you, of course
Thanks!
Thank you so much for sharing that! I'm telling everyone I know. That is wonderful!
I just wrote a post about DIY Auto repair with some info about AutoZone (you can also get your car checked for free)

Tiffany, thanks for sharing this! I love it because my husband just told me the other day he couldn't fix something because he didn't have the right tool. Since we don't have the money for him to go buy the new tool, I didn't argue with him. Now I can point him to this great program!

O'Reilly's Auto Parts also does this… they even "loan" you the diagnostic computer tool that you plug into your car's computer to get the codes and find out what's wrong with your car. You know, the thing that the auto shops use but charge $80 (at least!) to do it?
Hubby just "borrowed" a torque wrench this weekend to replace a part on my van… it was a lifesaver!
