Often I can get inspired just by hearing what others before me have done. I have a friend who never spends dollars. So if she bought a coffee and got $3 back in change, she would then save that $3!
I have been doing this too, but not with dollars just change. Hey I said I get inspired, that doesn’t mean I follow! I have been saving our change for a few months now, and we have about $40. We did start out with a small amount already in a jar, I’m just not sure how much. I will keep you posted on our progress.
