This year my family is trying something new for the holidays. We are only spending money that we bring in by selling what we already have. We are using sources like ebay, craigs list, consignment shops, and now we are selling our gold to generate our extra cash!
Most of my jewelry now is silver or platinum. However, growing up I only had gold jewelry. I still have most of my gold jewelry just sitting in a bathroom drawer. I’m not sure why I have been hanging on to it. Some are sentimental, but most of it is not. I though I would take this opportunity to try something new.
Have you seen these commercials where you can cash your gold in for cash? I have a friend who recently did this, and was pleased. My jewelry that I would be trading in has no value to me. So I thought what would it hurt? I’m checking it out!

First, my hubby picked me up a gorgeous necklace from there but then I sold my earrings and a diamond engagement ring from previous marriage there too. I’m planning to buy myself some more jewelry from there again. Moms I totally suggest picking yourself up something nice there or tell your hubby to!
