Did you get your cheap milk at Publix this week? Now are you thinking what am I going to do with all this milk? I know we can sure go through a lot of milk. But don’t worry if you bought more than you can drink, just freeze it! Milk keeps very well in the freezer. So don’t let that milk expire!
Another frugal tip that I love, is watering down your milk. Adding cold water to milk when buying whole milk is like drinking 2% milk. I know many moms that waters down their milk. Some will just water it down as they drank it. Others spilt it up from the start. I normally just add water in as we drank. I don’t like whole milk so I normally buy 2% if I plan to water it down. Otherwise I buy fat free which is what my family loves.

We never have too much milk, since there are six people in this house ranging from 18 to 54, but I have frozen milk before. You are right, it does freeze beautifully!
